Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band in St. Lucia (2003) ReviewTaj Mahal gives a great performance in this catchy, 'make you want to dance' type of show in the Carribean. Taj having assembled the Phantom Blues Band to tour with him for several years dating from the later 90's and into the 2000's they are a killer band, and he is always great. This DVD has a great set list consisting of both Taj classics like "Queen Bee", "Mailbox Blues", and "Further on Down the Road" to other more recent Taj hits like, "Here in the Dark", "Senor Blues" and "Rain from the Sky".
The Filming is Crystal Clear but has a few sub-par camera angles, but the sound is impecable. Formatted in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround and DTS it is sure to impress in your home theater. A good buy and a great artist whose music is sure to get your hips shakin!
