Indian Girl ReviewThis CD was awesome! I can not believe if I hadn't gone to the American Idol Underground Artist web site, I probably would've never heard of this woman... what a beautiful voice. This CD really just puts me in an awesome zone... I would so recommend this CD to EVERYONE who's into REAL music...not the studio artist, but, someone who can REALLY, REALLY sing... pick up this CD... it's so worth it. Great job, Sumitra, can't wait for another CD.Indian Girl OverviewFINELY WOVEN POP SONGS IN A JAZZ SETTING Sumitra, a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, CA, has released her brand new album "Indian Girl". The CD contains 13 tracks of soulful pop and jazz with influences from Joni Mitchell to Rickie Lee Jones and Sade. Sumitra moved from Austria to Los Angeles 4 months ago. Produced by Alex Machacek, ‘Indian Girl', a collection of original songs that Sumitra wrote in the last 5 years, was recorded in 2003/04 and released in Austria in June 2004.
