Pablo Casals: Early Recordings 1925-1928 ReviewThis album is perhaps one of my favorite. It features Pablo playing some very romantic and melancholic songs from various composers. It also features Pablo's amazing technique and his capacity of interpretation which gies beyond just reading and playing musical notes.
But also, the fact that this album was recorded so long ago, the original format was gramophone, I think it gives this album very important historical value, the background noise never interrupts the musics, but help listeners to get involved and place himself in the timeline.
