1969 ReviewI adore Pink Martini in all their manifestations... I'll admit, not being a Japanese speaker, that this album is a bit heavy to chew for me, but the music is just astounding (as it always is with this amazing "small jazz orchestra"). I miss China, most certainly, and wish her precious pipes and vocal cords a SPEEDY RECOVERY! but Saori Yuki is just as distinctive... just a little different. Beautiful sound, but I find these songs easiest *for me* when played randomly with the other Pink Martini albums... your mileage will vary, but this is a beautiful and as usual an amazing album. ;)1969 Overview
