An Officer And A Gentleman: Original Soundtrack From The Paramount Motion Picture ReviewThis is a superb CD and my favorite track is the main title theme. I feel that it is an inspiring, romantic, uplifting song that should be played after an extraordinary accomplishment, weather it be in romance, school, or whatever it is that you have accomplished. The second track, "Up Where We Belong", is a wonderful romantic song. I also enjoy ZZ Top's "Tush", and the song after that, called "Treat Me Right". I think track #8 is very romantic and soothing. My only complaint is that they should have had the last track be the ending of the film, because the title theme is played a little bit differently and more elongated during the ending. Oh, well. It's still the best movie soundtrack I can think of. :)An Officer And A Gentleman: Original Soundtrack From The Paramount Motion Picture Overview

Rush: Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack ReviewEric Clapton had never provided the score to a film, but he finally jumped into the film area with the soundtrack to Rush. The movie chronicles the tale of two undercover narcotic offices who in the course of their jobs become heroin addicts themselves. The album is made up of mostly instrumentals that has a dark and mellow nature that underscores the decent into drug addicted hell the two cops spiral into. Mr. Clapton himself was facing tragedy as he was recording the album, his four year old son Conner, was killed when he accidentally fell out of a window. To memorialize his son, he wrote and recorded one of most haunting and elegant songs ever written about the loss of loved one, "Tears In Heaven". The song would go on to bigger fame in it's Unplugged version, but the studio version is equally beautiful and worth buying the album for alone.Rush: Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack Overview
