Fandagumbo ReviewI am a music teacher and I play this CD in my classroom almost every week. There is a little bit of everything on this CD from fast to slow songs. The words are easy for the kids to learn and the melodies are catchy. This is music that both children and adults will enjoy. The title song Fandagumbo rocks! I find myself listening to it even when the kids aren't there.This is definitely one of the best children's CD's.Fandagumbo OverviewOn this CD, Julie Austin features her unique blend of enegetic, humorous, and irresistible children's music. All songs encourage singing along, moving or dancing. Austin, a veteran musician whose made five popular children's recordings, sings and plays guitar, flute, jawharp and nose flute. She is joined by David Mosher, who sings and plays banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass and guitar. Drums, piano and harmonica add to the diverse textures, styles and arrangements, which make "Fandagumbo" a pleasure to listen to for both adults and children.
