John Somebody ReviewI bought this recording on vinyl in the mid-80s, and although it isn't something you can play every day, it is one of my favorites. Johnson takes sampled sounds (speech fragments, women laughing, ...), makes tape loops out of them, and then brings out the inherent musicality of these with guitar. Its wonderful. However, its not for everyone. (A friend of mine asked me, upon hearing it "Do you listen to this because you think its interesting, or do you actually LIKE it?". Of course I actually LIKE it!
