Duet Reviewthe combination of kristina's lyrics and music with the depth and warmth of peter's amazing chello makes this album a must have item. Having been familiar with her work for many years and seen them live i can say this album captures the sincerity and depth of feeling that the duo bring to a live performance. A lthough familiar with my fathers piano this version with peter has again brought tears to my eyes. The emotion continues through tracks like Heart hill and the heart renching fact that formed the lyrics to eight short minutes which like time itself is forever getting shorter, this album is however full of lighter moments that reflect on things in life we can all associate ourselves with, like wish you'd stop doing so well. The pair of them are musically a match made in heaven , Kristina's playing and voice are a joy to the ear and must not be missed. so why haven't you put it in your cart yet.Duet OverviewDuet was released in Australia in March '98 and is a duet between American Kristina Olsen (on guitar, steelbody slide guitar, piano, concertina, sax and vocals) and Australian Peter Grayling (on cello, mandocello and harmony vocal).All but three of the tracks were recorded in a studio without over-dubbing, the other three tracks are taken from a live concert in Western Australia.
