Sky Geezer ReviewAnother outstanding effort from master songwriter/storyteller/musician Dan Oakenhead! Dan blends blues, folk, jazz and country (with just a pinch of pop) to deliver a fine listening experience. Starting with the blues-driven "Pick Me Up" featuring some great harmonica, followed by a great sixties'-like folk anthem "One More Turn Around The Wheel", this CD is packed full with delights and surprises. I defy anyone to resist the well-known "toe-tap/head bob move" while listening to "Cooperation", another classic ode to life in America during these times. My personal favorite is "Cliffs of Moher", a tribute to the beauty, spirit and mysticism in this wee part of the Emerald Isle.
Dan has dedicated his life to his craft - his musicianship just gets better and better and better! Whether it's another guitar style, piano, synthesizers, harmonica or tin whistles - his playing and singing will grab you by the throat and not let go until it's over. YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS CD!
