Promise Review
This North Carolina girl has had an interesting life and has written some beautiful songs. You can use the "preview all" button here to listen and what you here is perfectly representative of what is on the CD. So, no risk. If you don't like what you hear, move on. But I think most will be pleasantly surprised and will linger. There is a tremendous amount of good song-writing going on these days and you can sample some of it right here. She has another CD "Jungle Heart" also worth a listen -- here: Jungle Heart
"Ocean Bed", "Fishin'" and "Suicide" are some of my early listening favorites. "Resurrection" and "Deer in the Wood" I also found captivating. But these are all good songs and very enjoyable. For the price of a fast-food lunch, you'd be crazy to pass this by.
