Lie To You ReviewThe big surprise here is the quality of this record. One would not ever suspect this to be an independent release which was recorded, mixed and mastered in a home studio. The sound is rich and clear with interesting arrangements through-out. The second surprise is that there is no fill here. Every song has it's own appeal and captures the listener's attention. Although the vocal will strike you at first as another Avril or Brittany, the music takes you elsewhere. The group's sound has a rock edge that will not let it be pop even though the songs have pop hooks galore. The real attraction is Jordan's voice which is nothing short of stunningly sexy. This music has a unique sound that will appeal to adults and teens. The lyrics lean more toward the teen crowd which is to be expected since they were created by a teen. The catch is there are lyrical elements that are beyond the average teen's vision which adults will relate to.
